About
Welcome to my bridge page. Here you’ll find various tips, thoughts, and plugs for my bridge lessons. I’m an experienced bridge teacher (and former bridge club owner, ACBL director, and lecturer at regional events) with numerous first- and sec0nd-place finishes in regional events, mostly in Los Angeles and Orange County. I teach individuals and small groups both in person (in the Los Angeles area) and also on Bridge Base Online. On Friday nights (6:00 Pacific), you can find me in the Bridge Base Online Beginner and Intermediate Lounge, hosting group lessons.
If you’re in need of something other than bridge lessons, I’m also an attorney, an LSAT tutor (for those trying to get into the best law school possible), and a magician – former (I let my membership lapse) magician member of Hollywood’s World Famous Magic Castle, available for close-up magic at private events. I love working weddings and business events; I don’t do kids’ shows. If you’re interested in slightly off-the-beaten-track entertainment, I also do palm and tarot readings and handwriting analysis – (for entertainment purposes only) the kind of light, atmospheric, and mysterious stuff that will keep your guests talking about your party long after the event.
Other than all that, I’m a born & bred southern Californian, 43 years old (as of early 2012), with a variety of interests. Undergraduate major: English…I write a lot, I read a lot. Other interests include music, movies, philosophy, chess, veganism, and a whole lot more. Comments and questions welcome!
